Tonnesen

Anthony Tonnesen has been playing, recording, and coordinating music across Central Florida since the late 1990s — from church praise bands and early garage projects through to producing local acts in his Safety Harbor studio. A multi-instrumentalist with deep roots in professional recording craft, he spent years running large-scale music and art events throughout the region before channeling everything into Tonnesen, the project that finally carries his name.

Kestutis Paul Boyev has spent decades carving out a reputation as one of Tampa Bay's most versatile and sought-after guitarists. From shredding Celtic rock with Whiskey Dregs at Jannus Live and Skipper's Smokehouse to the rock and roots grooves of Magadog and The Apes FL, K Paul brings a wide musical range and serious stage experience to Tonnesen's lead guitar chair.

Mike Santore has been a fixture of Tampa Bay's original music scene for decades, logging time across a wide range of styles and projects. From the WMNF-featured St. Pete circuit with Talk to Mark to the heavier end of Midian, he brings road-tested instincts and a rock-solid low end to every stage he steps on. During the pandemic he channeled the downtime into a seven-album online collaboration with Eric Froom — because apparently some people bake sourdough and Mike records albums. When not holding down the low end, he can be found calculating actuarial tables or chasing high scores on vintage pinball machines.

Music runs deep in Jason's DNA — raised in a family of musicians, percussion found him at 12 via a dusty pair of bongos from his dad's attic. He and Anthony go all the way back to their first band as kids, and their shared history spans decades of playing together across multiple projects, plus a beloved run as the acoustic duo "Spurlz & Twan" at Dunedin Brewery open mics. After years apart and personal loss, Jason returned to his drum throne alongside Anthony in Tonnesen.
